An Agile approach is increasingly a business requirement for more and more projects, and not just IT projects. However, Agile project approaches and methodologies are frequently introduced in a conflicting way. This lunch and learn will position Agile in the context of other project management approaches, explore its foundational principles, illustrate how Agile could be the right choice for enterprise content management (ECM) projects, and provide some recommendations for getting started with Agile in ECM. The presentation will include a summary illustration of how the Agile SCRUM methodology can be used for an ECM project.

Pierre Jr Beaudry, PMP, is a certified Scrum Master with over 15 years of experience in project management. He has been responsible over the course of his career for projects ranging from enterprise content management (ECM) to application development to infrastructure installation to system integration, many of which were strategic and business-critical. His deep experience in both technology and management has enabled him to successfully lead large scale, multi-stakeholder, multidisciplinary and multi-vendor projects from feasibility to delivery. In addition to providing project management skills to key clients, Mr. Beaudry also manages the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Centre of Excellence at Larochelle GC and is senior director of its team of ECM consultants.
