As part of ARMA Canada’s annual conference held in Halifax from 13 to 15 June 2016, ARMA Montreal was awarded three honours!
Roger Drolet received a Member Recognition Award for his outstanding contribution as a member of ARMA Montreal. His constant involvement over the last 10 years as well as taking on the digitization and organization of 50 years of ARMA Montreal archives have made this award well deserved.
Mélanie Blondin has also received a Member Recognition Award for her exceptional contribution as a member of ARMA Montreal. Her leadership, efforts and time devoted to the French translation of ARMA’s Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles have more than justified this honour.
Finally, ARMA Montreal received the Canadian Chapter of the Year Award for its dynamism and for the quality of its educational program, manifested, among others, in webinars, the translation of the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles and popular networking opportunities.
Thank you to all ARMA Montreal members for supporting this organization that sees the quality of its initiatives recognized throughout the country and in an enlarged Francophonie! We hope to meet you all this autumn to celebrate our accomplishments face-to-face!
